MOST POPULAR POSTS - JUNE 2018

There have been some big numbers for June's most popular posts.

1. DFO, Salmon and Killer Whales: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/05/dfo-salmon-and-killer-whales.html. 9,000 page views, for instance. This cut to the chase answer: big money for habitat restoration and netpens of chinook salmon, had the most traffic.

2. Taxpayer Support For Fish Farms - Too Much Money To Ruin Our Oceans and Kill Our Salmon: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/06/taxpayer-support-for-fish-farms-too.html.

3. Retiring Broughton Archipelago Fish Farm Tenures on June 20: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/06/retiring-broughton-archipelago-fish.html.

4. Conservation Organizations Support In-Ocean Fish Farms? Well, No: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/06/conservation-orgs-support-in-ocean-fish.html. Go read this for the fake news sites that in-ocean fish farms use. In BC, the industry is 90% Marine Harvest, Cermaq and Grieg Seafood. The industry news Sea West News looks pretty fake to me. They would not send me their financials and annual report, which any legit organization will do, or have it on their website. Not this site.

5. John Horgan - Remember to Cancel Those Fish Farm Tenures: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/05/john-horgan-remember-to-cancel-those.html. These are the 22 sites in the the Broughton Archipelago.

6. Auditor General: DFO You Don't Cut It. Wake Up!: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/04/auditor-general-dfo-you-dont-cut-it.html. This really is a stinging indictment, the report soundly thumped DFO.

7. Stinging Indictment of Farmed Salmon as Food - Dr. Mercola: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/04/stinging-indictment-of-farmed-salmon-as.html. You don't want to eat farmed salmon. Keep friends from eating it, too.

8. DFO Fibs on Farmed Salmon Escapes - BC: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/03/dfo-fibs-on-farmed-salmon-escapes-bc.html. Another high page view post. DFO did its best to prevent Prof John Volpe from doing research into escaped farmed salmon in BC. They first agreed, then two days before he started, pulled out. And they wouldn't give him a site to do his research. And after he found Atlantics and their progeny in 97% of Vancouver Island Rivers swum, DFO continues to 'fib', saying Atlantics pretty much can't survive outside a netpen. Sad, if it weren't that they have almost a billion dollars to spend, of our money.

If you haven't read these posts, go and have a look. Almost another 10,000 views for the 2 to 8 posts. Very popular. Remember, this is a site about the environmental damage caused by in-ocean fish farms. The views are global, from 20 or more countries every day. Have a look.
