Most Popular Posts - August, 2018

The MPP post is put up on the first of the month following the month of the MPP, (if you catch my meaning) or so I say.

There were some big ones for August:

1. CFIA Deception on the Atlantic Coast, Just Like on the Pacific Coast: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/08/cfia.html. This was the most read post.

2. DFO, Salmon and Killer Whales: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/05/dfo-salmon-and-killer-whales.html. Took over 9,000 page views.

3. Bad News Bites, March 29, 2018: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/03/bad-news-bites.html. This brings the number of bad news bites I have found on the global fish farm/seafood industry to 3,500.

4. 244 On-Land Fish Farms Systems, comprising 20,000 actual farms around the world: https://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2016/05/152-different-on-land-fish-farm-systems.html. The all time favourite on this site. Don't let fish farms tell you on-land can't be done.

5. Increase Licence Fees to $32- to $40-million: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/08/increase-license-fees-to-32-to-40.html.

6. The Joys of Boating: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/07/the-joys-of-boating.html. My boat packing it in on me was a highly read item, as well.

7. Taxpayer Support for Fish Farms - Too Much Money to Ruin Our Ocean and Kill our Salmon: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/06/taxpayer-support-for-fish-farms-too.html.

8. John Horgan, What are you Thinking? Four Year Deal? First Nations Approval?: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2018/07/john-horgan-what-are-you-thinking-four.html. Instead of cancelling the 20 some licences in the Broughton Archipelago, Horgan et al, squirmed their way to a four year, sort of deal.

9. Cooke Aquaculture, a Litany of Complaint: http://fishfarmnews.blogspot.com/2016/04/cooke-aquaculture-typical.html. Again, a very popular post on this site, over the past couple of years. It has entries that bring it into 2018.
